ADAS Meldpunt collects drivers' experiences and reports about unexpected behaviour and faults in driver assistance systems (ADAS). By gathering reports in a structured way, patterns can emerge that are difficult to recognise from individual incidents.

Modern cars are equipped with an increasing number of driver assistance systems. These systems can support the driver, but do not behave exactly as a driver expects in every situation. ADAS Meldpunt brings together practical experiences to gain more insight into where, when and under what circumstances problems arise.

Reports are used to investigate recurring patterns and circumstances. Aggregated insights may be used in discussions or collaboration with researchers, road authorities, government bodies, vehicle manufacturers, importers and other organisations involved in road safety and vehicle technology.

Reports that include an email address are simply counted along with the rest. Names and email addresses are not included in public analyses or reports.

ADAS Meldpunt is an independent initiative of AIUTO B.V. and is managed and maintained by AIUTO B.V. The reporting point is not affiliated with any vehicle manufacturer, importer, insurer or regulator, and receives no payment for registering reports.

ADAS Meldpunt is not an official government reporting point and does not handle individual complaints or disputes. In the event of a technical or safety issue, we therefore also advise drivers to contact their car dealer, the manufacturer/importer or, where applicable, a competent government authority.

The aim is not to draw conclusions on the basis of a single report, but to gather enough practical information to recognise patterns and to be able to base the conversation about how ADAS performs on real-world facts and experiences.
